Holiday Honor Tree

A Christmas trial program where supporters choose a simple dog tag and quietly help a veteran or veteran family feel remembered.

Who it serves
Veterans, veteran families, holiday donors, sponsors, and local partners.
Availability
Planned as a Christmas 2026 trial connected to the Memory Tree Festival dog-tag tree.
Eligibility
Support is coordinated through NVFF. Public tags should only include simple details the veteran and family are comfortable sharing, such as first name, service branch, years of duty, interests and hobbies, clothing size, and shoe size.
Application period
November 28 through December 15, 2026, with delivery the week before Christmas.
